Our Mission

Given the ever-increasing expenses associated with attending college, the founders believed they had to act in the best interest of students. The Foundation started by raising $7500 and awarded its’ first scholarships to 4 students. The list of available scholarships have grown from 4 scholarships to over 50, ranging from $500 to $20,000, and impacting more than 50 seniors a year!

 

Even with those impressive numbers we still are only scratching the surface. The primary objective of the Foundation is to provide as many scholarships to as many students as possible. The Foundation supports scholarships for students pursuing all areas, including the trades, automotive technology, welding, construction, and manufacturing. Anything we can do to assist students in expanding their career opportunities we support!

Our generous donors have come from all walks of life. Area businesses, such as Farmers State Bank and Little Fat Gretchen’s; organizations such as the Rotary Club, and Lions and Lioness; and many, many other supporters both local and beyond.
